The lion is a symbol of power, courage, and good fortune in Chinese culture. The lion dance is often performed during festive occasions and celebrations to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits. The dance is also associated with the Lunar New Year and other significant events.
Wang Tao Kung Fu has performed lion dance in the DFW metroplex since 2018. Our shows range from 10-30 minutes long, often accompanied by displays of wushu and dragon dance.
